New entree and game in the museum

Press Release: New, Modern Entrance for the National Rescue Museum
Den Helder, 4 November – The National Rescue Museum is currently working hard to complete its new, fully modernized entrance. We expect everything to be ready by December and look forward to welcoming our visitors to this renewed space. Thanks to close collaboration with Pride at Work and Druktemaker, as well as support from various sponsors and financial contributions from the Waddenfonds and the Cultural Fund, we are in the final stages of this special project.
From the moment they enter, visitors will be immersed in the impressive story of the rescue services. The revamped entrance will not only offer a warm and welcoming reception but will also set the tone for the museum's adventurous and educational character.
In addition to the new entrance, we are opening an expanded museum shop, where visitors can find souvenirs and unique items related to the museum's theme. A cozy coffee corner near the entrance will also be available, where visitors can relax before or after their visit.
“This modernization will ensure that our visitors have a remarkable experience as soon as they enter. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far and look forward to presenting our revamped entrance soon,” says [Kayleigh Bok, Marketing and Communications Officer at the Rescue Museum].
New Interactive Navigation Game Launching in November
Today we have also started setting up a brand-new game, entirely focused on sea navigation. This interactive game allows visitors to experience the challenges of navigation in different conditions in a fun and educational way. The game will be an exciting addition to our already extensive collection of interactive exhibits.
The new entrance and game are expected to open to the public in early December. The National Rescue Museum relies largely on the dedication of volunteers and continues its commitment to making the museum accessible and attractive to everyone.
