Den Helder, surrounded by water, boasts two museums focused on the sea: the National Rescue Museum and the Naval Museum. Both are magnificent museums with their own stories. Address and Accessibility

The National Rescue Museum is located at Willemsoord, the former naval dockyard. It's a beautiful historic site, close to the heart of the city. The train station is within walking distance, and free parking is available opposite the museum entrance. The museum is also accessible for disabled visitors.
