An unforgettable museum night in Den Helder

On Friday, November 7th, the National Lifeboat Museum, the Navy Museum, and Fort Kijkduin open their doors for a special museum night! From 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the museums will be filled with surprising activities for all ages. Experience a unique evening at historic locations.

Glitter and waves at the National Lifeboat Museum

At the Lifeboat Museum, immerse yourself in a world of glitter, glamour, and waves. Expect an evening full of music, games, and spectacle! None other than Den Helder's drag queen April Summer presents two sparkling rounds of drag bingo, packed with humor, glitter, and fun prizes.

• 1st round: 8:00 PM
• 2nd round: 9:30 PM

Each round lasts about an hour. Make sure you arrive on time, as places are limited.

You can also party all night long at the silent disco. Put on your headphones, choose your favorite channel, and dance among the historic lifeboats. Prefer to stroll around quietly? Explore the museum at your own pace with your favorite soundtrack. Let yourself be carried away by an unforgettable mix of glitter, music, and conviviality.

Marine Museum and Fort Kijkduin

The Marine Museum and Fort Kijkduin will also open their doors this evening with a unique program.

On deck at the Marine Museum, experience an evening full of games and fun. Unmask the murderer during the murder mystery game, take over the bridge of a ship as a crew member, and meet the crew of Submarine Tuna.

At Fort Kijkduin, embark on a unique journey through time. With the help of the theater group Ouderwetz, the history of the fort and its surroundings is brought to life. During an exciting tour through the fort, you'll meet the historical figures who shaped Fort Kijkduin's past.
